Monsieur Henri Bellier and his wife founded the first Hotel Bellier in the town of La Chapelle-en-Vercors in the Drôme region of France in 1900.

A few years later Monsieur Bellier discovered Val d'Isere.Charmed by this beautiful mountain village he decided to build a second hotel which was completed in 1950.

Edmond, Henri's son, took over the hotel in 1980 and ran it until 1994. Since then his daughter Magali and her husband have taken the hotel on for a 3rd generation!
